Get your Super Raffle!

February 26, 2008

After having a few chats with random people, I’ve come to the conclusion that we all need to buy Super Raffle tickets to make this thing work in Michigan or it will fall away. Whats that mean? That means do your part! Buy yourself a Super Raffle ticket, one will do. Don’t go spending money you don’t have I’m not saying that. Debt free and loving it is my motto, i’ll get to that in another post soon. But a few people were saying, if we don’t tell people, they won’t buy. If they don’t buy then the odds to win are higher!  I thought that a while back and as I’m sitting here thinking about the crooked was of government sponsered doings, I know that this wouldn’t happen. If it did, they’d extend it, lower the price in half and only offer half the winnings to those ticket numbers or just plain out say wait. Then they’d not hold another one.

There is still over 150k tickets out there. It’s been 15 days and about  20 some to go. With only 100k sold, will they make it this time? My speculation says, the government buys all the tickets and you’ll notice only the last 100k or so numbers are drawn with the 500 dollars and a 100k in the beginning to make some people come back.

That’s my thoughts.

Kicking it with lottery ideas

February 17, 2008

Project Lottery Life has been officially over for half a month, and results are still coming in. I’m currently searching for about 3 tickets in boxes from when I moved about three times in the past year. So keep sitting tight!

In other news I bought my Super Raffle ticket! 50 bucks and good feeling surround this piece of paper and I’m happy to own it.

The current Mega Millions is worth 220 million and the commercials have been touting all around with their corny ways that they have money stockpiled waiting to give away. I’m sure everybody has the same thought, “Give it to me if you don’t want it!”. I’m having the same feelings, but I guess a hocky commercial is just another way to advertise what the Mega Millions is worth. I won’t be spending more then a single dollar each time until it hits 300 million, which it looks like it’s on the track within the next 2 weeks if nobody wins.

In other news, I’ll be trying to keep up to date with the latest games, news and everything else lottery related!
