Starting a MailBag?

November 27, 2007

No I haven’t started the ezine yet. I’ve been working and taking care of my son and it’s just been quite busy as of late. However there has been talks of if i’m going to start a mailbag on the blog as well as the ezine. While technically that’s almost a question mailbag worthy, well for one that has no real questions so far. In fact, the people asking don’t seem to wanna contribute themselves. What’s that mean? It means i’m officially making an early call out to start up a blog mailbag. So email me at projectlotterylife@yahoo.com

Talk about and ask anything you want too! Super Raffle, Mega Millions, Michigan Millionaire Raffle, Classic Lotto, Fantasy 5, scratch and wins, whatever! Just drop me a line and have your question posted here.

Missing my Fantasy

November 25, 2007

Another day skipped out on the Fantasy 5, but that’s ok it’s starting to snow like crazy and I can see the roads starting to slush up outside. I need to venture out to a close walk to place to get lottery tickets rather then driving out. However, I am now certain that I will be playing the Classic Lotto at every chance in addition to the Mega Millions. Will I record this? Naw, but I may in the future to see how things go with the numbers and what I win.

I still have yet to get my Mega Millions or Classic Lotto for this Tuesday and Wednesday. I loved seeing the sign that states 60 million to win when I passed by it on the highway. That always gives good hopes knowing there still some big cash to win!

The update on the ezine is that I’ve had a few emails, but just the same thing that I already pointed out, nothing I haven’t already explained before but thanks again for the extra comments! The second I finally put out an email I actually get some good feedback of people who keep on reading my blog every once in a while. No bad feedback yet, but then again there’s always that clown in the bunch that has nothing really smart to say and just kinda says stuff based on a single post, hell even just a paragraph of a post without finishing to read the explanation!

That about wraps it up for todays blog!

Classic Night Part 2

November 24, 2007

Classic Lotto 47 has posted some positive results for myself!

The numbers drawn:

11   12   15   27   41   42

My Numbers

04 12 18 27 42 46

Matching 3 out of the 5 numbers I netted myself 5 bucks! I’m not sure what to think really, this is like the 5th Classic Lotto I believe I played this year, it’s as if it’s paying off more. To bad it wasn’t more, but I can’t scoof at 5 bucks, it’s 5 times what I paid for the ticket! Maybe I should of bought a Fantasy 5 ticket to boot, o well tomorrow is another day.

Classic Night

November 24, 2007

Here I am eagerly awaiting the next lotto drawing for the Classic Lotto in Michigan. I passed up on the Fantasy 5 for today since I don’t want to go out right now. So I’m rocking the Classic Lotto ticket right now waiting for the drawing. A good question brought to me the other day was how come I never give out my ticket numbers? Well there’s a very good reason to that, other then the daily 3 and 4, all the other games are split evenly among the winners for the big draw. If I were to give out my ticket number and even 1 person  gets the same cause they read it on this blog, I just gave out half my jackpot. Imagine if I gave out my numbers to a mega millions drawing worth 300 million. Now lets say 30 people write down my numbers all of a sudden if I win, I go from 300 mill to 10 mill. After taxes and take home that’ll probably leave me with about 6 mill if I’m lucky. So it’s a huge drop and I’m very particular about that kind of situation. So sorry to all those that ask for my numbers! It just isn’t going to happen.

Getting Active with an online magazine

November 23, 2007

In hopes of doing the ezine, I’ve been coming up with more ideas. I’d like to take the time to ask everybody who reads this blog to comment or even email me at projectlotterylife@yahoo.com . to either share some ideas you think would be good in an ezine and what you want to hear. I have a list of what will be included, so if there’s something not in here that you think you’d want to see then email me or comment! Not all suggestions may be taken, but all will be listened too.

  • All lottery numbers since previous issue
  • Interviews with lottery players/winners
  • News on lottery winners
  • The latest scratch and wins as well as other lotto games
  • Email bag
  • Stories of lottery players
  • Spotlight lottery player of the issue
  • Suggested winning numbers for fun
  • Submitted tips and tricks to playing the lottery, ESPECIALLY people’s ritual and good luck omens they do

If you see something that’s not in here and would like to see more, let me know! The ezine will most likely be limited to either a one page folio or multi page document between 6+ pages

Demand your Michigan Millionaire Raffle Drawing!

November 22, 2007

So I picked through the entire article on michigan.gov/lottery about the new millionaire raffle drawing on when the drawing is and it’s clearly January 2nd. HOWEVER! I just purchased a ticket and the drawing claims January 2nd or within 10 days of sell out right on the ticket! If the drawing sells out, I will do it, along with encouraging others with the same ticket to demand the drawing within 10 days of it! Will this work? Who knows, all I know is if it sells out before the end of November, I’ll make sure to look into it to see what can be done. Legally, the ticket says 10 days after sellout while the site doesn’t. Anybody know what can legally be done about this? I’ll write a letter to the lottery commission to see what their take is on the subject.

I’ve also been purchasing classic lotto 47 along with Fantasy 5 when I can. Of course I always go with the mega millions, but  since the odds are better I thought I’d take a stab at the twice weekly classic on Wednesday and Saturday and some daily fantasy 5 tickets.

Good Feelings for Michigan Millionaire Raffle!

November 17, 2007

I have some good feelings bout the Michigan Millionaire Raffle coming up starting November 19th and the drawing on January 2nd.

This is quoted off of www.michigan.gov/lottery:

The Lottery’s Millionaire Raffle is back!  A limited number of tickets, only 600,000, will be sold at all Lottery terminals across Michigan beginning November 19, 2007.  Each ticket sold will contain a unique six-digit number from 000001 to 600000.  In a single drawing scheduled for January 2, 2008, 2018 raffle tickets will be randomly selected to win the following great prizes:

Prize Odds of Winning
6 grand prizes of $1,000,000 each (annuitized over 20 years*) 1:100,000
12 prizes of $100,000 each 1:50,000
2000 prizes of $500 each 1:300

Overall: 1:297

The Millionaire Raffle offers players the best chance ever to win $1,000,000.  Odds are just 1 in 100,000 that a player will become one of six new millionaires in the most $1,000,000 prizes ever awarded in a Michigan Lottery game!

  • Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased 7 days a week at any online or Club Keno retailer
  • Tickets will be printed in numerical order when issued
  • No additional tickets will be available for purchase when all 600,000 tickets are sold
  • Tickets will be easy picks only; players cannot pick their own numbers
  • Tickets cannot be cancelled and multi-draw wagers are not available
  • Player must match their numbers in exact order to those drawn by the Lottery
  • There will be only one drawing on January 2, 2008
  • Players must have their original Millionaire Raffle ticket to claim their prize
  • Prizes must be claimed within one year of draw date
  • Winning numbers will be posted on Lottery’s Web site at www.michigan.gov/lottery and all Michigan Lottery offices
  • $500 prizes may be claimed at any Michigan Lottery office or licensed claim center
  • $1,000,000 million and $100,000 prize winners must call the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim their prize

So there we have it. Great odds to win for 20 bucks! Missing something? You bet. The past few raffles had the favorable drawing within 10 days of ticket sales while this one doesn’t. Whats up with that? Well from what I can think of off the top of my head, there are 2 reasons.

Reason Number 1:

The last raffle took a while to sell out, in fact it sold out 10 days before the draw date automatically giving the lottery commission the right to stick to it’s original date since it’s 10 days just like the ticket said. Slow sales? I’d call it that, but only compared to the past few raffles. Failure? Not a chance! To be a failure, the raffle would still have tickets left to sell PAST their drawing date. I hear that a lot with people saying the last drawing was a failure because it took a while which kinda makes me think those complaining are the impatient one’s expecting a sell out the day     THEY buy their ticket and the drawing will be tomorrow. But a lot of people been patient.

Reason Number 2

The obvious Christmas gift that they’ve been touting to buy people for Christmas. If the drawing is held up to 10 days after sell out and it sells out before December 15th *and it will* then it’s not so much a Christmas gift anymore if the drawing is before Christmas. Wouldn’t that just suck tossing over your only Christmas gift to someone letting them know they didn’t win? What I believe the commission should of done was have the drawing on Christmas Day. The smaller prizes during the day to let the cheer ring in while have the bigger prizes later to give people hope throughout the day when they check that they didn’t win the small prizes. I believe that’s what they SHOULD of done.

I’ll be getting a ticket myself, just one will do it! Best of luck to everybody and get them early!

Celebrating a move and other new goodies.

November 10, 2007

It’s been hell week , scratch that, hell 2 weeks so far with the new move in. I finally got to get some lucky tickets to hopefully win something in the lottery! I got a classic and fantasy 5 for tonight along with a mega millions for Tuesday.

This is about the 4th time I played classic and it looks like i’ll be continuing the trend once a week with mega millions. I’m on the wall with Fantasy 5. Only 5 numbers needing to be picked to win a somewhat rather small jackpot. Who cares though, as long as I come out above even I’m happy. It’s a daily thing so that’s about 7 bucks a week, add in 2 mega millions and a classic, thats 10 bucks a week in lottery tickets, making it 520 a year in lottery tickets possible. The odds of winning anything? Not high, but there’s still odds to win so it looks like I’ll play Fantasy 5 when I can. I’ll also be going through the tickets soon enough and start posting total lost and total won so far to show the true spirit of this blog!!

I’m even in the works of trying to produce a small little EZine. Which will be a lottery based PDF format magazine that I will try to find a place so everybody can download it for free. What will be in it? The numbers of everything in the Michigan lottery that’s available between the posting of issues. It may be weekly, it maybe bi-weekly…hell, i’ll try to keep it more then twice a month so the latest info isn’t lost! Whats to expect inside it other then numbers? Lottery winning news, lottery thoughts, even an email bag where you can write me and talk about the lottery!! More will be coming soon!

Just some more interesting info I thought i’d point out is that the winners of October 31st, Halloweens Fantasy 5 drawing was a couple from Hell, Michigan.

Moving on Out

November 1, 2007

Big inactivity since the Super Raffle eh? That’s right, because I been busy packing and getting stuff together for a move. It’ll finally happen this Sunday. As a celebration for a new job and a new move, I’ll be playing each of the lotteries that Michigan has to offer this Sunday. Daily 3, Daily 4, Classic, Mega Millions, Fantasy 5 and maybe a few scratch and wins to celebrate the new day! What does this mean for the blog? Well for a week, maybe two there will be an absense *nothing new to you guys* of me posting on this blog.

So three cheers for the new move and hope I will have internet up and running in no time!
